Yes, someone special is waiting for you! In fact, some very special people need you. If you can spare just an hour or two a week to brighten the lives of others, please consider becoming an Elcor Volunteer.

Our residents have much wisdom, wit and warmth to share. But sometimes it takes a visit from someone like you to make them realize just how special they really are. A friendly visit from someone like you can really brighten and fill their day.

We provide a variety of activities and programs within a cheerful environment through our exceptional staff, but we cannot always show these special people that the community really cares. You, as a volunteer, can.

A friendly visit from a volunteer can show the residents at Elcor that they are not alone-it stimulates their interest in the outside world and gives them a chance to reminisce about the past. Many have interesting stories to tell but no one with time to listen to them.

We invite you to join the growing number of homemakers, professionals, retirees and students who spend some of their free time with our residents. As an Elcor Volunteer, you can take pride in serving as a community ambassador and as a representative of the Southern Tier's most progressive, family owned health care facility.
